Hire conditions
To ensure safety and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, please do not overfill your bin. All waste must be securely stowed so the tarp can be fastened safely for transport.
Fill to the top rail, no higher
Bins may be filled to the top rail and no higher. It is illegal to transport overloaded bins, so our drivers cannot accept skips where the waste exceeds the bin capacity or sits above the top rail.
Overloaded or unsafe bins
Overloaded or unsafe bins may incur additional fees. If you are done with the bin earlier than expected, contact our office and we will arrange pickup.
Not permitted in skip bins
Anything classed as dangerous or hazardous. Contact us for your specific requirements.
- No asbestos
- No tyres or batteries
- No paints or thinners
- No oil or liquid waste
- No gas cylinders
- No food waste, scraps or perishables
Hire period
Standard hire is up to 7 days. Flexible extra days are available in most cases at a small additional cost.
Placement
Driveways and lawns are best. Road, footpath or council strip placement generally requires a council permit, organised before delivery.
Access
Leave enough room for our truck to back up and unload. Check gate widths, overhanging gutters and low powerlines before booking.
